Sonja Jensen - Polymer Clay Sculpture

Sonja is a self taught artist from Michigan now residing in Florida. Art has always been her main focus in life and she experimented with several different mediums before discovering clay. She is a fan of the original fairy tales, where the moral of the story was more important than a happy ending.

"My sculptures are born with names and stories from a world of fantasy or myth capturing such lifelike movement that it will look as if it could get up, walk around and maybe even talk to you!"

Sonja doesn't use fancy tools to make her sculptures. "You'd me amazed about what a toothpick, a knitting needle and even a rock can accomplish!"
