In wanting to share her love for animals and their environment, Nancy Tome uses bold colors to depict animals in their natural, everyday life. Nancy focuses on the secret beauty that often lies right in front of you. This beauty is becoming increasingly unnoticed in today’s hectic world. By painting common Florida water birds in their traditional, wild habitat, she invokes a feeling of peace and tranquility that you would not otherwise find if these birds were seen along a golf course or busy street in modern day Florida.
