Jan has lived in Florida since 1989 having moved from Minnesota. She has always had an interest in Art and started to learn watercolor painting after she moved to Cape Coral. There she began classes at the

Cape Coral Art Studio.

Since then she has taken many workshops with famous artists from around the USA and has continued with classes in acrylic and mixed media painting. Jan is a member of the Florida Watercolor Society, Cape Coral Art  League, and Pine Island Art Association.
