Silk Creations

I love vivid color and to watch the paint flow onto the silk and take a life of its own.  All of my pieces are influenced by tropical Florida with a dash of the Orient or Latin America.  All are hand washable in cold water, dry flat or hang, and iron on the reverse.

When I’m not painting or designing, you’ll find me tending to my orchids and exotic plants or offshore fishing in the Gulf of Mexico.

Nancy Cunningham

Acrylics/Silk Paintings

My name is Nancy Cunningham and I moved from Columbus, Ohio to Cape Coral, Florida in 2002.  After many years in the corporate world, I now have the time and the inclination to put my visions onto silk in the form of wearable art.

I am artistic by nature and have expressed myself through various mediums – stained glass windows, acrylic paintings on tile and most recently paintings on silk that become wall hangings, scarves, tank tops or sarongs.  All designs are wearable art so the piece can adorn your walls when you aren’t wearing it.
