WildChild Art Gallery Liane Redpath-Worlund

     Liane Redpath-Worlund - Silversmith

"Since childhood, my passion has always been design and color. As a metalsmith working in a three dimensional medium, I've found my calling by combining all three elements to create sculptural works of wearable art.

All of my jewelry is fabricated by hand using sterling silver or other metals, and I embellish most of my work with a variety of precious and semiprecious gemstones. While more labor intensive, I enjoy the challenge of direct metal techniques such as forging, hand forming, texturing and soldering. Architecture, 20th century sculpture and forms in nature influence my designs. I strive to produce work that not only makes a bold statement, but also is distinctive and comfortable to wear."

Liane is a Fine Arts graduate from the University of Wisconsin and also studied at the University of Nevada and Pratt Art Institute. After living many years in the Southwest, she now resides in Washington State. Missing the warmth and ever changing colors of the southern skies, she spends part of each winter in Florida and Mexico.

Liane will be leading a couple of jewelry workshops this season at the gallery. Be sure to sign up to take advantage of this wonderful opportunity.
