Richard is a retired architectural designer and construction manager. His training at Yale School of Architecture included Instructions from Neil Welliver (well known Maine artist) and noted colorist Joseph Albers. Richard’s artistic focus is on the SW Florida environment - Its water, its wildlife, and the fun sport of recreational fishing. He and his wife live in Bonita Springs.
The simple lines of pen and ink can convey the grace and beauty of Florida’s birds, fish and tortoise. Richard seeks to capture this with clarity of the medium and hopes his joy in being a part of SW Florida shows in his work.
