I am a life long lover of nature, art of all kinds, music and flowers! I’ve been married to the love of my life, David, for over 50 years (which neither of us can really believe). We have two amazing daughters and one beloved grandson!
I am a retired primary school teacher.
After many years of experimenting with various artistic expressions but never finding my “groove”, I happened upon Zentangle online and immediately my eyes and heart were captured. After reading about it, I realized I didn’t need to know how to draw and yet I could create beautiful patterned designs that came together into a lovely, little work of art! I loved doing it so much that a few years ago I went for a week long training and became a Certified Zentangle Teacher (CZT). Since then, I’ve shared this wonderful process with many friends, old and new.
Then in 2020, during my usual Pinterest browsing, I came upon Neurographic Art videos that showed a process, created by a Russian psychologist….that was a creative practice but also affected the neural pathways of the brain in calming, new ways. I was intrigued and since then have spent parts of each day experimenting in my own way and enjoying this wonderful creative outlet. For years I had been trying to reproduce others peoples art and practicing but never liked my end product. With Neurographic Art, everything you do is an original unlike anyone else’s and the results are beautiful!
Needless to say, I kept finding flowers in my lines! It has become a real joy for me to create these paintings!
