Make Your Own “One of a Kind” Witch Doll At the WildChild Art Gallery in Matlacha
Hi!! I’m Lenea Howe. I teach paperclay classes at the WildChild Art Gallery in Matlacha, FL, and I make the paper mache/paperclay fish that you may have seen hanging from the ceiling there. I will be presenting another One of a Kind Witch class in Feb, 2016.. Here are the “particulars” on the class:
This witch is 34 inches tall from the tip of her hat to bottom of her curly-toed shoes. She is made of fiber fill stuffed fabric with fabric clothing and a paperclay painted head. Her clothing will be a variety of Halloween fabrics and her hair can be your choice of several colors and types of hair/wool. Her hands are made of bendable wire so she can hold a variety of little props. She can sit or hang on the wall.
Date: Feb. 25, 26 & 27 (Thurs, Fri & Sat)
…..a 3 day class.
Hours: 10am to 4pm for a total of 18 class hours
(plus a little homework).
Cost: $300 all inclusive…just bring your lunch.
In the class you will learn to sculpt a head from paperclay, (add a tooth if you like J) paint it and wig it. ****** Learn to make hands.********All cloth parts and clothes will be pre-sewn and ready to stuff.******No sewing machine needed…only some simple hand stitching. ******Class includes stuffing, paint, all fabric, glues, and decorating items as well as all patterns and instructions….everything you will need.
At the close of the 3rd class you will leave with a completed witch, ready to be part of your Halloween decorating for years to come…..a family heirloom!
See photos above of a few of the “girls”.
There are 3 spaces left in the class
